PURPOSE: To save trouble of operation of a lamp at the time of backward movement, by lighting a cornering lamp automatically when a gear is shifted to a reverse position while a head lamp or a small lamp is being lit.

CONSTITUTION: When a backward movement operation is made by turning an ignition switch 5 ON and then turning a back gear position switch 6 ON, a reverse lamp 7 is lit and the rear is illuminated. At the same time, cornering lamps 2 and 3 are lit automatically and the side in the rear of a vehicle is illuminated when a small lamp 9 is being lit by operating a relay 8. While a head lamp is being turned ON by a switch 4, the cornering lamp 2 or 3 is turned ON by synchronizing a switch 1 for the cornering lamp with a switch for a turn signal. With such a construction, trouble of operation of a lamp is saved by lighting the cornering lamps 2 and 3 automatically at the time of backward movement.
