Abstract:
To provide effective notification of not only a deceleration degree when a brake is activated in association with a brake pedal pressing operation but also a deceleration degree when an auxiliary brake is activated.SOLUTION: A lighting control device for a high mount stop lamp comprises: a control part that individually controls a lighted state of a plurality of lamp arrays; a vehicle speed sensor that detects a vehicle speed; a brake pedal sensor that detects the amount of pressing a brake pedal; and an auxiliary brake sensor that detects whether or not the auxiliary brake is activated. The control part calculates a deceleration value on the basis of a detection value of the vehicle speed sensor, and individually controls the lighted states of the lamp arrays in accordance with the deceleration value, and sensor values of the brake pedal sensor and the auxiliary brake sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
