PURPOSE: To provide a compact lighting device which is capable of being cooled efficiently while has an improved reliable electronic parts.
CONSTITUTION: Power is supplied from an automobile battery 10 to a high luminousity discharge lamp 40 being the light source of a head light 50 ans being put on with a lighting circuit unit 30. The unit 30 is arranged on the outer circumference in the vicinity of the head light 50. At a part of a front bumper 60 a cooling wind introducing port 100 arranged. When an automobile advances, air taken in from the port 100 is led to the unit 30 through an air control fin 110. The unit is cooled efficiently thereby to prevent the generation of temp. increase caused by hear generation in an engine room and heat generation.
