The lighting device for lighting up the display article 1 comprises a base 11 surrounding a display article 1 and multiple light sources 12 place along the base 11. These light sources 12 illuminate the display article indirectly from the surroundings. The base 1 is formed as a frame without a bottom and illuminates the display article from the bottom.
