Abstract:

To provide a display device capable of obtaining better images.

The display device is provided with a lighting device, and a display part carrying out image display with the use of light from the lighting device. The lighting device is provided with a light guide plate extended on a plane including a first and a second directions crossing each other, base body supporting the light guide plate, and a first and a second support parts fitted to a part of the light guide plate and the base body. The first support part allows displacement of the light guide plate in the first direction while limiting that in the first direction, and the second support part allows displacement of the light guide plate in the first direction, while limiting that in the second direction.
