Abstract:
To provide a lighting device and a display device capable of improving color rendering property.SOLUTION: A lighting device has: a light source for emitting light; a light absorbing member having a first surface and a second surface for emitting light incident from the first surface, and absorbing light in a predetermined wavelength region of light incident from the first surface; and a light diffusing member including a light incident surface and a light exit surface, diffusing light incident from the light incident surface and emitting light from the light exit surface. The light absorbing member is arranged so that the first surface faces the side of the light source and the second surface faces the side of the light incident surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
