Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device which enables efficient heat radiation, and to provide a heat sink of the lighting device.SOLUTION: A lighting device 1D of the invention includes: a heat sink 10 including a plate-like base part 3a and multiple outer fins 12 protruding from the one surface side of the base part 3a; a light source part 2 disposed at the other surface side of the base part 3a of the heat sink 10 and having an LED light source 2b; and an outer covering 4 covering an outer periphery of the heat sink 10 and having an exhaust port 4a at an upper part. The outer fins 12 protrude to the outer side relative to an outer edge of the base part 3a when the heat sink 10 is viewed from the light source part 2 side. Air flows into the outer covering 4 from an intake port 7 positioned below the outer fins 12 and is exhausted from the exhaust port 4a.
