Abstract:
To provide an illumination device with which a state of an object may be seen properly.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an illumination device according to an example of an embodiment irradiating an object that has a first wavelength range having a relatively high spectral reflectance with respect to a wavelength and has a fluctuating spectral reflectance with respect to a wavelength over time. The illumination device is provided with a light source having a first spectrum. The first spectrum has a first peak in a second wavelength range within a first wavelength range, in which the amount of decrease in spectral reflectance over time in the object is relatively large. A width at a half-value of the first peak is narrower than a width of the second wavelength range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
