Abstract:
A lighting apparatus includes a laser source (20) configured to emit a laser beam (L1), a homogenizer optical element (30) that includes a light flux dividing section (40) disposed to face the laser source (20), configured to divide the laser beam (L1) into a plurality of separate laser beams (L2 (k1, h1)) in a plane (P1) and make advancing directions of the plurality of separate laser beams different from each other, and a light flux superimposing section (50) formed integrally with the light flux dividing section (40) and superimposing the plurality of separate laser beams on each other in a common radiation region (RA), and a fluorescent material (60) disposed to face the homogenizer optical element (30), excited by the plurality of separate laser beams superimposed in the radiation region (RA) using the light flux superimposing section (50) so as to emit fluorescence.
