PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlamp that is excellent in usability and made compact and lightweight.SOLUTION: The lighting device comprises: a semiconductor laser (2) for emitting a laser beam; a light emitting part (7) for receiving the laser beam and emitting light in a wavelength range from visible light to near-infrared light; and resin-made light projecting parts (8, 12) for projecting the light emitted by the light emitting part (7) to the outside of the device. The semiconductor laser (2) is provided so as to be separated from the light projecting parts (8, 12).
