Abstract:

To provide a lighting device which can give sufficient lighting in a space beneath the shelf, permit unrestricted change of a lighting position beneath the shelf, and protect a light emitting diode.

A lighting device 1 illuminates a space underneath an iron shelf plate 31 with a light emitted from many light emitting diodes 15a. The light emitting diodes 15a are lined up in a longitudinal direction at the bottom side of a central plate 3 on a main lighting device body 2 which has a U-shaped cross section and extends to a longitudinal direction, and a thin plate magnet 13 is attached to a top surface 3a on the central plate 3. This ensures sufficient illuminance while allowing the light emitting diodes 15a to be shifted to any positions on the iron shelf plate for attachment.
