A lighting device has the solar battery panel 1, and a light source 2 arranged on the back surface of the solar battery panel 1. The solar battery panel 1 is provided with a surface electrode 3 with a light-transmitting property, a back electrode 4 arranged on the back surface at an opposite side of the surface electrode 3, and a power generation layer 5 arranged between the back electrode 4 and the surface electrode 3 and generating power by absorbing light. The back electrode 4 of the solar battery panel 1 is a metal layer, the back electrode 4 of the metal layer has countless through-holes 6 capable of transmitting light, and dielectric antennas 7 for receiving light as an electromagnetic wave and emitting the received light are arranged on openings of the through-holes 6. The lighting device receives light of the light source 2 arranged on the back surface of the solar battery panel 1 by the dielectric antenna 7 arranged on the through-hole 6 of the back electrode 4, and emits the received light to a surface side of the solar battery panel 1.
