To provide a lighting device which can be easily arranged in a bathroom and is excellent in appearance.
In the lighting device 1 installed in the bathroom 10 having a ceiling 11 formed by at least two pieces of panels 12, 13, the lighting fixture 1 which is a linear shape and has a length equivalent to the length of the panels 12, 13 is held between the panels 12, 13 and has a lens 5 wherein the lens 5 can be adjusted at an arbitrary angle. The lens 5 is used for changing a direction of light irradiated from a light-emitting section 6. When a fluorescent lamp and a downlight are used as a light-emitting section 6, it is desirable to give directivity to light by adopting a convex lens as a lens 5. Or, when an LED lighting device is used as the light-emitting section 6, it is desirable to diffuse light by adopting a concave lens as the lens 5 since the LED lighting device is highly directive.
