Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the light use efficiency of a lighting device of a color re-capture system.
SOLUTION: In a lighting device 10 of the color re-capture system in which a color wheel 40 having dichroic films 41R to 41B is disposed at the aperture 23 of the exit 20b of an integrator 20, a center mirror 30 which reflects light toward the aperture 22 of the integrator 20 is disposed on an optical axis 80 connecting the incident side aperture 22 of the integrator 20 and a lamp 13. Among lights returned to the integrator 20 without passing through the color wheel 40, a light 73 leaking from the incident aperture 22 is reflected by the center mirror 30 and made incident on the integrator 20 again. Accordingly, the light use efficiency further improves.
