Abstract:
To provide a flat lighting apparatus which can avoid a reduction in a living space when it is fixed on a wall or a ceiling and can reduce a frequency of maintenances when it is fixed on a high ceiling or the like where a component exchange is difficult.
The flat light apparatus is provided with CCFLs arranged flat lengthwise and crosswise in place of conventional fluorescent lamps. A diameter of the CCFL is several millimeters only and a thickness including a power source circuit can be made within several centimeters. Moreover, since a life of the CCFL is as long as around 50 to 60 thousand hours, it is not necessary to conduct a maintenance work of the lighting apparatus for 10 and several years.
