The lighting equipment system includes a battery 3, a charging circuit 25 to charge the battery 3 by power from a commercial power supply 21, a switching circuit 24 which switches over the power from the commercial power supply 21 or power from the battery 3 and lights a lamp 6, a receiving circuit 35 which receives an inspection signal 15 transmitted from the outside, and a control circuit 27 which has an inspection operation to light the lamp 6 by the power from the battery 3 by operating the switching circuit 24 during the time the inspection signal 15 is received. Thereby, since the control circuit 27 performs the inspection operation during the time the inspection signal 15 is received from the outside, the checking of switching operation of the regular lighting state and the emergency lighting state can be made in a short time, and the maintenance performance can be improved.
