Abstract:
To provide an illumination device which enables assurance of suitable visual sense for an operator.SOLUTION: An illumination device 1 is generally configured by comprising: an illumination part 14 which illuminates one eye of an operator 8 of a vehicle 7; and a control part 18 which illuminates one eye of the operator 8 based on an acquired brightness around the vehicle 7 thereby changing the eye from dark adaptation to bright adaptation while maintaining the other eye in a dark adaptation state. According to this illumination device 1, when the vehicle 7 is moved from a dark place to a bright place, the other eye feels dazzling, but one eye in a bright adaptation state can assure visual sense. Therefore, this illumination device can assure suitable visual sense for the operator compared with the case with no adoption of such a configuration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
