PURPOSE: To put the reverse of a reflector and the transmitted light through it out of slight by extending the end part of a cover so that the angle formed by a line connecting the center position of a lamp with the opening edge of a back part and the axial extension of the lamp becomes a determined angle or less.

CONSTITUTION: The back part of a cover 1 is extended and formed so that the angle formed by a line connecting the center position O of a lamp to the opening end 3a of a back opening 3 and the axial directional extension of the lamp 17 becomes 60° or less. Hence, the eye direction B of a person staying under a lighting equipment, for example, a customer 42 faces upward when he watches the lighting equipment, so that the cover 1 is always situated on this side of the center position O of the lamp 17 in the eyes of the customer 42. Thus, the backside reverse of a reflector 8 is difficult to enter into the visual field of the customer 42. Namely, the customer 42 is difficult to see from the back surface 3 of the cover 1 to the reverse of the reflector 8 and the transmitted light therethrough.
