Title:
LIGHTING FIXTURE FOR VEHICLE HAVING DISCHARGE BULB
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3193608
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent harmful influence of electromagnetic waves radiated from a discharge bulb or a connector and cord connecting a discharge bulb and a lighting circuit thereto on electronic equipment mounted on an automobile.
SOLUTION: A connector 10 connected to a socket 5a of a discharge bulb 5 attached to a reflector 3 is covered with a metallic cover 104 serving as a conductive covering. This metallic cover 104 shields the discharge bulb 5 so that the radiation of electromagnetic waves can be suppressed. A cord 19 which connects the connector 10 and a lighting circuit has a shielding wire structure, and thus the radiation of electromagnetic waves therefrom can be prevented. Moreover, a shade 18 attached to the front side of the discharge bulb 5 is formed of a conductive material and covers the fore of the discharge bulb 5, and also the radiation of electromagnetic waves in this direction can be thereby suppressed.
