Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination apparatus capable of easily adjusting an illumination direction of illumination light with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An illumination apparatus 1 comprises: a light source 2 emitting a laser beam; and a wavelength conversion unit 3 converting a wavelength of the laser beam emitted from the light source 2 and radiating illumination light. A phosphor plate 31 of the wavelength conversion unit 3 has a conversion region 3A provided with a phosphor 35 converting the wavelength of the laser beam and emitting the wavelength-converted laser beam and a noon-conversion region 3B which is not provided with the phosphor 35 and transmitting the laser beam, and the non-conversion region 3B is formed into a pinhole shape relative to the conversion region 3A. With this configuration, the laser beam emitted from the non-conversion region 3B is projected like a laser pointer on an irradiation surface, so that an irradiation direction of the illumination light can be easily adjusted by referring to the laser beam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
