Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting optical system capable of effectively removing infrared rays even without an infrared cut filter.
SOLUTION: This optical system is constituted so that it is provided with a light source 11 emitting white light containing at least visible and infrared region components and a relief type diffractive optical element 12 diffracting luminous flux of the white light, and the relief type diffractive optical element 12 is provided with a grating with a rectangular sectional shape and an equal interval, and 0-order light 13 among diffracted light emitted from the relief type diffractive optical element 12 is usable as lighting light.
