Title:
LIGHTING REFLECTOR, LAMP, LIGHTING SYSTEM AND LUMINAIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06275113
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a uniform illuminating pattern on a surface to be illuminated.

CONSTITUTION: A lamp 21 comprises a bowl-shaped mirror 23 integrally mounted on a halogen lamp 22. A reflecting surface portion 31 optically opposite to the halogen lamp 22 is formed on the inside face of the mirror 23. A curved facet 33 which extends inwards is formed near the apex of the reflecting surface portion 31 and a planar facet 34 is formed on the other part of the reflecting surface portion 31. The rays of light that the filament 24 of the halogen lamp 22 emits are reflected by the facets 32 and emitted from an illuminating opening 26 toward a surface to be illuminated at a predetermined illuminating angle, so as to form an illuminating pattern. The rays of light going toward the center portion of the illuminating pattern are thus dispersed so that brightness at the center portion can be reduced, and that some of the rays of light can be distributed to the peripheral portion of the pattern.
