Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination structure of a meter device that allows novel and good-looking illumination.SOLUTION: The illumination structure includes: a rotation shaft 5 having light guide property; a pointer 7 having light guide property that includes a pointer shaft 6 connected to the rotation shaft 5 and points a numerical value or scale on a number plate 9; a light source 3 that is disposed at one end side of the rotation shaft 5 and makes light come into the pointer 7 via the rotation shaft 5; a lightproof cap Ca that is attached on a ceiling plane of the pointer 7 and prevents illumination light from leaking from the ceiling plane to the outside of the pointer 7; and a light guide member 91 having light guide property that is disposed in the cap Ca, guides, to the outside of the cap Ca, a part of the illumination light having come from the light source 3 into the pointer 7, and makes it as ornament light R1 go out of the cap Ca.
