A lighting control circuit 1 of the room lamp comprises a light emitting portion 3 having a light emitting diode 2 as a light source, a capacitor 8 connected to the light emitting portion 3 in parallel, and a door switch 7 that is closed when a door of a vehicle opens, or is opened when the door closes to turn on or off power feeding from a battery 5 to the light emitting portion 3 and the capacitor 8. When the door switch 7 is closed when the door of the vehicle opens, power is supplied from the battery 5 to the light emitting portion 3 and the capacitor 8, the light emitting portion 3 is turned on, and the capacitor 8 is charged. When the door switch 7 is opened when the door of the vehicle closes, power supply from the battery 5 to the light emitting portion 3 and the capacitor 8 is cut off, but the light emitting portion 3 is turned on for a predetermined period by charged power of the capacitor 8.
