Abstract:

To provide a lighting system in a freezing and refrigerating showcase capable of fully enhancing the brightness of an illumination surface by a lighting system provided in a canopy.

The lighting systems 14, 15, 16 in a freezing and refrigerating showcase 1 are provided on the lower surfaces of the canopy 13 in the freezing and refrigerating showcase 1, a top plate 3c, and a shelf board 5 to light a merchandise display space S at respective lower parts. In the lighting systems 14, 15, 16, a plurality of LEDs are arranged horizontally, and the luminous flux of each LED in the lighting system 15 provided in the canopy 13 is made larger than that of each LED in the lighting systems 14, 15 provided on the apical plate 3c and the shelf board 16.
