Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system high in lighting efficiency and capable of uniformizing the illuminance of a light irradiation object region.
SOLUTION: This lighting system B is provided with a light guide plate 2 having front and rear faces 20a, 20b and first and second side faces 22a, 22b spaced in a fixed direction and a light source 3 projecting light to the light guide plate 2 so that the light travels from the first side face 22a toward the second side face 22b inside the light guide plate 2. The lighting system is further provided with a light reflecting means 4 capable of reflecting light that traveled from the first side face 22a to the second side face 22b inside the light guide plate, and a plurality of inclined faces 21a provided on the surface 20a of the light guide plate 2 and reflecting to emit the light from the rear face 20b of the light guide plate 2 when receiving the light reflected by the light reflecting means 4 to travel from the second side face 22b toward the first side face 22a.
