To overcome the problem with a conventional lighting device, wherein a function for obtaining an effect produced by light is carried out by color changing means for changing color of a light emitting diode over time, so that a naturally changing phenomenon such as wind strength can not be expressed by color change.
The lighting system includes a lighting part 10 for lighting outdoors, and a control part 14 for controlling lighting of the lighting part by receiving a signal from a rotation number detection means 8 detecting rotation of a wind-mill so as to control dimming light by change of the rotational speed of the windmill with natural wind. The lighting system can be used to raise environmental consciousness to add a value of a monument as an environmentally conscious symbol of energy creation.
