The luminaire 10 is configured to receive a radio signal from a remote control device 20 as a transmitter, and to control a light source unit according to the received signal. The remote control device 20 includes a first operation portion 22a and a second operation portion 22b. The remote control device transmits, in response to pressing operation or that each operation portion is put into a pressed state, a first signal corresponding to the operation portion, and transmits, when the pressed state of the first operation portion 22a or the second operation portion 22b is released, a second signal in response to the release of the pressed state.
