PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent light output from suddenly and instantly following detecting output, and to realize a flickerless comfortable visual environment by controlling the light output of an illumination load according to a detecting value before the occurrence of abnormality when the control part discriminates abnormality of an illuminance detecting value.
SOLUTION: The illuminance detecting part 2 detects ambient illuminance in a constant sampling period. When a detecting value (b) is obtained, this is compared with a detecting value (a) before by one, and when a difference value is not more than a first prescribed value, light output of an illuminance load 1 is controlled as the detecting value (b) shows accurate ambient illuminance. Next, when a detecting value (c) is obtained, this is compared with the detecting value (b) before by one, and when a difference value is not less than a first prescribed value, the control part 3 does not control light output of the illuminance load 1 by judging the detecting value as being based on the irregular light. Thus, since a required process is only to store two points of a detecting value before by one and a detecting value used to change light output of the illuminance load 1, the storage part can be reduced. Light output of the illuminance load 1 almost realistically follow the detecting value.
