PURPOSE: To provide a lighting system by which an energy loss of emitting light of optical fiber can be reduced and optional light distribution can be obtained and a lighting fixture can be miniaturized.

CONSTITUTION: The light emitted from a light source 1 is condensed by a reflector 5, and is introduced to a lighting fixture 3 through optical fiber 2. A hologram element 7 on which a lens pattern and a reflector pattern are recorded is housed in the lighting fixture 3, and the emitting light from the optical fiber 2 is radiated outside through this hologram element 7. A loss of light energy is reduced, and optional light distribution can be easily obtained by changing a recording pattern of the hologram element 7. When the light fixture 3 is used as a headlight for a vehicle, since a reflector and a Fresnel lens having a complicated shape become unnecessary, a small and lightweight light fixture can be obtained. The hologram element may be arranged in a plurality in an emitting side end part of single optical fiber.
