Abstract:
To reduce the difference between bright and dark parts when a luminaire supported on a ceiling face dims the ceiling face near its top, producing the bright and dark parts and making the viewer feel discomfort.
An illumination shade 15 supported on a luminaire main body 11 is formed integrally from a translucent material and extended longitudinally from the lower surface of the luminaire main body 11 to reduce the difference between bright and dark parts The lower surface of the luminaire main body 11 is made as a reflecting surface so that when a plurality of fluorescent lamps 13 are installed, the space between the fluorescent lamps 13, 13 is not dimmed.
