The lighting equipment is provided with a reflecting part having a reflecting face 14 formed nearly along a part of an ellipse and an LED lamp 5 that is arranged in the vicinity of a first focal point of the ellipse C in the reflecting part, and lighting unit in which a part of the illumination light of the LED lamp 5 is nearly converged at a second focal point of the ellipse C and lighted, and the lighting unit is made as the light source. Thereby, diversification of the technology for making uniform the color tone of the illumination light is attained.
