Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting unit mounting structure which can be thinned.SOLUTION: A roof lining 20-mounting opening part 23 and a reinforcement 15 are arranged so as to face each other in a vehicle inside and outside direction. A lighting unit 30 includes a housing 40 which is mounted to the mounting opening part 23 from the outside of a vehicle cabin and stores an illuminant 31, and a cover member 60 which is mounted to the housing 40 from the inside of the vehicle cabin and allows penetration of emitted light from the illuminant 31. An outer peripheral edge part of the housing 40 serves as a flange part 50 abutting on an opening edge part 23A of the mounting opening part 23 from the outside of the vehicle cabin. An outer peripheral edge part 61A of the cover member 60 abuts on the opening edge part 23A from the inside of the vehicle cabin to hold the opening edge part 23A between it and the flange part 50. The vehicle cabin outside of the flange part 50 is provided with a hook and loop fastener 51B which is locked to the reinforcement 15.
