To provide a lightning arrester equipment for a wind turbine capable of eliminating a damage of blade from lightning, making the wind turbine efficiently operate, and greatly reducing maintenance cost.
Plural or one electrode plates are attached between tips and roots of blades 6, 7, 8, to make lightning current flow from an electrode plate to an electrode plate or creep-discharge directly on a blade surface from the electrode plate. Lightning current collected to a hub 5 is led to the ground from the hub 5 through a nacelle 4 and a tower 3. In this invention, to prevent lightning at edges of the blade 6, 7, 8, lightning is received at the electrode plate and equally creep-discharges on the blade surfaces. Since the blade surface is made of polymer resin and bears well under creep-discharge, burn of the blade can be completely prevented.
