In this lightning insulator for power transmission of 110-154 kV, a lightning horn having a serial gap electrode at the tip of ZnO element is fitted at one end respectively of the power transmission side fitting and the grounding side fitting of the insulator pair with a serial gap length Z2, and an insulator pair horn is fitted at the other end respectively with an interval Z1 that is suitable for insulation coordination. The device is characterized that the serial gap electrode on the power transmission side is made as a spherical electrode and the serial gap electrode on the grounding side is made as a bar-shape electrode.
