Abstract:
To provide a lightning protection device for a terminal directly connected to an apparatus, capable of protecting a terminal directly connected to the apparatus with a cable having one end shield-grounded from lightning strikes, which has a simple configuration, saves space, and has good workability.SOLUTION: An insulating member 27 on which a first discharge electrode 28 and a second discharge electrode 29 are mounted is attached to a ground terminal 22b of a lightning arrester 21b near a shield-ungrounded terminal 12b directly connected to an apparatus where the shield of a cable 14 is ungrounded. The first discharge electrode 28 is electrically connected to the ground terminal 22b of the lightning arrester 21b. The second discharge electrode 29 is electrically connected to the shield (shield ground line 20b) of the cable 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
