Abstract:
To maintain lightning protection performance of a lightning receiving unit in a lightning protection device of a windmill for wind power generation, and to improve durability and maintainability.SOLUTION: A lightning protection device for power generation is a lightning protection device for wind turbine blades, where a receptor 7 is installed on a peripheral surface of a tip part of a blade 6, and an induction sheet 9 for inducing a lightning current at the time of lightning reception to the receptor 7 is arranged in a radial direction at an outer peripheral position of the receptor 7. The induction sheet 9 is made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Between the outer periphery of the receptor 7 and an end part of the induction sheet 9 on the receptor side, a gap G serving as a discharge space is provided. The induction sheet 9 is used as a tape-shaped induction tape. The plurality of induction tapes 9 are arranged radially around the receptor 7 at a predetermined angular interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
