This lightweight banking structure is constructed by piling up the resin foam bodies 4 as the lightweight banking material in multiple stages and arranging a finishing structural member such as a base course on the upper face, and wall surface members 20 in multiple stages at a side face. The wall surface member 20 is formed in double structure provided with an inner sidewall surface material 31 facing the lightweight banking material side, and an outer sidewall surface member 32 located away on the outside. Soil can be put in a space S formed in between to perform vegetation.
