To provide a lightweight boring device capable of conveying materials and equipment by human power and simply performing a geological investigation such as core sampling or the like by boring work without installing a special conveying means such as a mono-rail or the like even in an area difficult or impossible to move a conveying vehicle.
The geological investigation boring device is equipped with a boring device 10, an excavation implement 12 mounted thereto and a lifting device 14. The boring device includes a horizontal base 18 fixed on the ground by an anchor 16, a strut 20 erected on the horizontal base, a drill 22 having an electric motor 28 and a change gear 30 and capable of being vertically moved along the strut by a handle operation and a water pressure gauge attached pressure control type swivel 24, and the solid weight of each material and equipment in the case of disassembly is settled within a range of conveyable weight by human power.
