Abstract:
To provide a lightweight and strong bead for severe services such as in tires for aircraft.
This lightweight cable bead core 30 comprises an inner core 33 formed of a metal wire 34 having a sheath 35 on the outside of a steel cord wire 36. Each cord 36 is formed of a plurality of filaments 37. The bead core 30 is particularly suitable for heavy duty service conditions of the tires 100 for aircraft, off-road equipment, and commercial trucks.
