Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof tile which is massive, and lighter and has more heat insulating property than the conventional clay roof tile.
SOLUTION: One face of a water-impermeable layer constitutes the surface of the roof tile, a porous layer is fixed to the other face of the water impermeable layer, the porous layer contains a filler piece group and a binding agent for binding the filler pieces constituting the filler piece group, and the filler pieces are lightweight heat insulating roof tiles made of a porous material. The binder is a lightweight roof tile formed of porous body. Voids are formed between the filler pieces in the lightweight heat insulating roof tile. The surface of the lightweight heat insulating roof tile is provided with the water- impermeable layer, the porous layer containing a group of pores is joined to one face of the water-impermeable layer, and a plurality of projections are provided on one face.
