PURPOSE: To obtain the subject economical product capable of exhibiting remarkably high preventive effects on ink strikethrough simply by adding a small amount of a mixed filler composed of fine calcined kaolin particles and fine white carbon particles having a specified particle diameter thereto by homogeneously and internally adding the aforementioned mixed filler to the interior of paper.
CONSTITUTION: The objective product obtained by homogeneously and internally adding a mixed filler composed of (A) fine calcined kaolin particles or fine urea formalin polymer particles, having 0.1-0.3μm primary particle diameter and capable of forming secondary particles with 8-10μm particle diameter by aggregating in water and (b) fine white carbon particles having 0.01-0.05μm primary particle diameter to the interior of lightweight paper consisting essentially of wood pulp for newspaper so as to contain 1-4.1 pts.wt. solid substance based on 100 pts.wt. bone-dry wood pulp. The aforementioned product is obtained by homogeneously dispersing the above-mentioned mixed filler in an aqueous suspension of a stock in forming sheets of paper.
