Abstract:
To provide a portable, lightweight and robust digital X-ray detector.
This X-ray detector 30 includes foam layers 78 and 80 for covering image pick-up panels 58, 60, 68 and 70 configured to respond to received X rays and output an electric signal. An electronic device 72 is positioned outside an image pickup range 52 of the image pickup components 58, 60, 68 and 70. The components of this detector are stored inside an impact absorbing cover assembly 48.
