Title:
LIGNIN COMPOSITION, ITS PRODUCTION AND CEMENT DISPERSANT USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3024526
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lignin composition showing high surface tension when using as an aqueous solution, readily and economically producible, and useful e.g. in a dye industrial field and also useful as a cement dispersant by specifying the contents of either or both of aluminum and iron within prescribed ranges.
SOLUTION: This lignin composition is obtained by adding one or both of (B) a water-soluble aluminum compound and (C) a water-soluble iron compound to (A) a lignin solution and continuing the reaction of the mixture until attaining (D) 0.01-0.4wt.% content of an extract with chlorotrifluoroethylene dimer. The objective composition finally contains 0.05-5wt.% (based on a solid component of the lignin solution) of one or both of aluminum and iron and 0.01-0.4wt.% (based on the solid component of the lignin solution) content of the extract with chlorotrifluoroethylene dimer. Preferably, an oxidized pulp discharged solution treated with alkali at a high-temperature and under a high pressure or a purified solution of the discharged solution by an ultrafiltration is used as the component A.
