Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscle activity amount measurement device capable of precisely measuring a muscle activity amount of a body.SOLUTION: A muscle activity amount measurement device 1 comprises: a surface electrode 3; a surface myoelectric potential measurement part 5; a surface myoelectric potential simulation part 7 for calculating a surface myoelectric potential simulation value on a position of the surface electrode based on a virtual cross section; and a muscle activity estimation part 9. The virtual cross section comprises a contour line which is acquired from a tomographic image of a measurement position and plural block areas obtained by dividing an inside region of the contour line by finite element division. The surface myoelectric potential simulation part 7 calculates a time mean square value of the surface myoelectric potential by muscle activity of a virtual muscle fiber 19 based on a time mean square value of a muscle activity amount of the virtual muscle fiber 19, and on a block area 17 other than a block area 17a corresponding to a bone and a block area 17a which is behind of the bone to the surface electrode 23, in the virtual cross section, calculates a square root of a total value of the time mean square values of the surface myoelectric potential by the muscle activity amount of the virtual muscle fiber, for calculating a surface myoelectric potential simulation value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
