Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a line filter employed in various electronic appliances for the purpose of noise prevention in which high frequency impedance is ensured by decreasing the stray capacitances between the winding parts.
CONSTITUTION: One magnetic leg of a closed magnetic circuit core 2 is partially wound by one and the other windings 5, 6 in the direction for offsetting the fluxes induced by the line currents within the magnetic leg in such a manner that the smaller one of the effective winding height and effective winding width in the cross-section of the winding is normal to the advancing direction of common mode noise. The other magnetic leg of the core 2 is wound by the remainder of one and the other windings 8, 7 with the same dimensions as the windings. One windings are then connected each other and the other windings are also connected each other.
