Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a line laying device used in mooring a platform and an operation method therefor.
CONSTITUTION: A line laying device 10 used in mooring a platform includes a pair of claws 11, 12, each with twin hooks swiveling about a spindle 13, wherein the claws 11, 12 are fitted to a portion swiveling on the spindle 13, a spring operating lock is fitted to a shoulder, the lock is provided with a small wheel at the end, and fitted to the claws 11, 12 by the spindle 13, the claw is provided with a stopper 24 for limiting the travel of the lock, and the claw is provided with a ring 25 where a wire rope to be processed is wound.
