Abstract:
PURPOSE: To hold properly the line pressure or the engaging pressure of each friction element regardless of the operating condition of a solenoid valve for an automatic transmitting machine equipped with main and aux. transmissions.
CONSTITUTION: In an automatic transmitting machine, the line pressure of a hydraulic mechanism 40 is duty controlled by a controller 160 through a duty solenoid valve 49. The target duty ratio to be impressed on this valve 49 is set in accordance with the oil temp. and the On/Off pattern on the basis of the map in which the target duty ratio is represented in relation to the oil temperature and the On/Off pattern of the first to fifth on-off solenoid valves 71-75. This allows giving a proper line pressure always irrespective of the oil temperature or On/Off pattern, and the engaging pressure of each friction element can be made proper.
