Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a disaster such as a fire caused by hydraulic troubles and stably work an electric motor for a long time in a bed environment in a rolling mill by using the electric motor as a grindstone rotating drive source for grinding a rolling roll on an on-line roll grinding device.
SOLUTION: This device has a small electric motor which produces a large rotating torque for a drive source of a rotating grindstone and a drive device room which houses and surrounds this AC servo motor 54 for driving a grindstone to shut off from the outside for protecting it from the bed environment in a rolling mill, thereby providing an online roll grinding device which can work for a long time and has a rotating drive device and reduces danger such as a fire.
