Abstract:

To provide an on-line settlement system which can easily perform on-line settlement using a network.

When a user decides to pay for a commodity provided by a content provider CP like a homepage 12 on the Internet 1 by using the one-line settlement system, the content provider CP automatically switches the line to free dialing and connects a user-side terminal and a CTI center 13 by a line having an outgoing number notifying function. The CP notifies the CTI center of a telephone number and purchase amount data that the user inputs on the screen. The CTI center 13 judges whether or not the outgoing number sent from the user-side device 10 is the same as the telephone number information sent from the CP to identify the user and carries out settlement processing based upon data of a financial institution 14.
